On September 21, 2019, Belief BioMed Co-founder, Chairman and Chief Science Officer (CSO) Professor Xiao Xiao presented at the 8th China Rare Disease Summit in Shenzhen. Professor Xiao Xiao's presentation is about the current status of gene therapy, the presentation was followed by rare disease patient associations as well as researchers and doctors from all over China. China Rare Disease Summit started in 2012 and has become the largest comprehensive forum in rare disease sector in China. It has played an important role in policy advocacy and social engagement on rare diseases.
